Round Ligament pain
During pregnancy the strong ligaments that surround and support your uterus stretch and thicken to accommodate the growing belly. This can sometimes cause discomfort, experienced as a sharp or "jabbing pain” in the groin, or lower belly, on both or just one side.
Recommended Asanas:
Practise-side lying savasana - with a pillow between the legs
Cat pose (not cow pose!)
Pelvic Tilts
Tadasana - practice good posture from your feet to the top of your head in particular think about pelvic and lumbar spine alignment.
Recommended External Support:
Belly Band: a belly band can help by lifting and stabilizing your growing belly. This reduces the sudden stretching of the round ligament during activities like walking or transitioning from sitting to standing.
